AI Rap Video Template

These AI rap video templates are scene prompts for rap music video shots, written for Wan 3.0 in the Shotloom generator. Pick a template, swap in your own wardrobe, place and colours, and render a 5 or 10 second clip with a generated beat-driven soundtrack. The model does not lip-sync to your lyrics, so the clips work best as cutaways and b-roll around your real track.

How to use a template

  1. Load it. Press Use this template; the prompt and settings fill the generator above.
  2. Make it yours. Change the outfit, location and colours. Keep one camera move and one main action.
  3. Draft cheap. Run 480p for 5 seconds first, then spend more once the motion is right.
  4. Edit to the beat. Mute or keep the generated sound, then cut clips to your track in an editor.

Vertical 9:16 suits Reels, Shorts and TikTok; 16:9 suits YouTube and wide edits. If you need several shots that look like the same video, repeat the same wardrobe and lighting words in every prompt and change only the location or camera move.

Rap music video scene templates

rap-garage

Parking garage verse

A rapper in an oversized black hoodie performing straight to camera on the empty top level of a concrete parking garage at night, hands cutting the air on every beat, sodium lights flickering behind him. Low-angle handheld shot that bobs with the rhythm, light fog. Heavy 808 bass, crisp hi-hats and a confident rapped vocal echoing off the concrete.

720p5 s9:16audio on60 credits

Watch for: Mouth movement will not match your own lyrics; use it as a performance cutaway, not a lip-sync shot.

rap-cypher

Street corner cypher

Five friends standing in a loose circle on a street corner at dusk, one in the middle rapping with animated gestures while the others nod and react, a boombox on a milk crate. Slow 360-degree orbit around the circle at chest height, warm streetlight with a cool blue sky. Boom bap drums, vinyl crackle and crowd reactions.

720p10 s16:9audio on120 credits

Watch for: Faces in a group can drift between frames; keep the orbit slow and the circle small.

rap-booth

Vocal booth close-up

A rapper recording in a small vocal booth, headphones on, eyes closed, one hand on the headphone cup and the other keeping time, pop filter in the foreground. Slow push-in from medium to close-up, moody red and amber practical lights, acoustic foam walls. Muffled beat bleeding from the headphones and a focused rapped take.

480p5 s9:16audio on30 credits

Watch for: Watch the pop filter and microphone keep their shape during the push-in.

rap-rooftop

Rooftop skyline performance

A rapper in a bright windbreaker performing on a rooftop at golden hour, city skyline behind, wind catching the jacket, a small crew vibing in the background. Drone-style slow orbit from wide to medium, warm backlight and lens flare. Upbeat trap beat with a rapped hook.

720p5 s16:9audio on60 credits

Watch for: Skylines can wobble on orbits; 16:9 at 720p keeps buildings steadier than 9:16.

rap-lowrider

Lowrider cruise

A candy-red lowrider cruising slowly down a palm-lined boulevard at sunset, a rapper leaning out of the passenger window mouthing the words, the car bouncing gently on its hydraulics. Side-tracking shot at car height, warm orange haze. West Coast funk bassline and laid-back rap.

720p10 s16:9audio on120 credits

Watch for: Wheels and hydraulics can glitch over 10 s; cut to 5 s if the bounce breaks up.

rap-subway

Subway car freestyle

A rapper freestyling in an almost empty subway car at night, holding the overhead bar with one hand, other passengers half-asleep, city lights strobing through the windows. Locked-off wide shot from the end of the carriage, cool green fluorescent light. Train rumble under a sparse beat and a freestyle verse.

480p5 s16:9audio on30 credits

Watch for: Window light strobing hides small errors; check the background passengers stay still.

rap-anime

Anime rapper on stage

Hand-drawn anime style, a young rapper with neon-green braids performing on a small club stage, crowd silhouettes with raised hands in the foreground, spotlight beams cutting through smoke. Fast push-in on the downbeat, bold cel shading, magenta and cyan palette. Punchy drum loop and an energetic rapped verse.

720p5 s9:16audio on60 credits

Watch for: Stylised looks hide lip-sync gaps better than photoreal ones.

rap-studio-crew

Studio session crew

A late-night home studio session, a producer nodding at the desk, two artists trading lines into one microphone, laptop glow and LED strips on the walls. Slow lateral dolly along the desk, shallow focus, purple and warm white light. A dark trap beat and two alternating rapped voices.

720p10 s16:9audio on120 credits

Watch for: Two performers at one mic can merge; keep them on opposite sides of the frame.

What these clips can and cannot do

Wan 3.0 is good at mood: smoke, neon, crowds that move, cameras that orbit. It is weaker at exact performance. Mouths move, but they do not follow a specific verse, and hands can blur on fast gestures. Shots that hide the mouth, like a wide crowd shot or a silhouette against a spotlight, often read as more convincing than a tight face. For more scene ideas outside rap, see the Wan 3.0 prompt library.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI rap video template?

A ready-made scene description for a rap music video shot: where the performer is, how they move, what the camera does and what the sound feels like. Load one into the generator, change the details, and render a short clip with Wan 3.0.

Will the rapper say my lyrics?

No. Wan 3.0 creates the picture and its own audio track from the text prompt; it does not lip-sync to a song or lyrics you supply. Use these clips as performance cutaways, intros and b-roll, and lay your real track over them in an editor.

Which template should I start with?

The vocal booth close-up at 480p for 5 seconds is the cheapest test. Once the look works, move up to 720p or a 10-second length.

Can I put my own face in the video?

Not on this page. Shotloom renders from text only for now, so the performers are generated. Do not describe a real, named person in the prompt.

How do I make a full music video from these clips?

Render several 5 to 10 second shots with the same wardrobe and colour words, then cut them to the beat in any video editor. Keeping one look across prompts helps the shots match.

Are these templates free to use?

Yes. The prompt text is original and free to copy. Rendering uses the free renders or credits shown in the generator.
